JRC has had extensive cooperation and communication with foreign academic community of legal science and researchers of JRC performed their academic researches, lectures and visits in well-known colleges, universities and research institutes in U.S.A., U. K., Germany, France, Japan, Russia, Netherlands, Sweden, etc and they often went abroad for international academic conferences.
    JRC also kept a close contact with international institutes of jurisprudence. Prof. Zhang Wenxian was the executive member of International Association of Legal Philosophy and Social Philosophy he was once Chairman of its China Branch and researchers of JRC have been invited to its conferences. 
    JRC has sponsored the “Overseas Scholars’ Lectures” and every year 3-5 overseas scholars will be invited to present lectures. Since the year 2000, over 40 well-known scholars from G. B., Japan, Germany, etc. have come to us. In cooperation with human rights research institutes of Nordic countries including Sweden, Norway and Denmark, JRC held “Nordic-China Seminar on             International Human Rights Law” 2001. JRC has also sponsored the “Conference of Comparative Studies on Western and Chinese Legal Cultures” 2004. JRC co-sponsored with other colleges and institutes over 10 international academic conferences and seminars including “Political Civilization and the Modernization of China’s Politics” 2005, “China’s Social Transformation and Studies on Political Science”, etc.
