JRC has been in close contact and communication with domestic academic community. It has held a series of seminars and conferences, consisting of “Basic Categories in Legal Science” 1988, “Right, Duty, Democracy and the Rule of Law” 1990, “Market Economy and Spirits of Modern Law” 1994, “China’s Approach to the Rule of Law and the Professional Community of Law” 2002, “Teaching Material and Curriculum Reform of Jurisprudence” 2003, “Chinese Legal Science Against the Backdrop of Globalization” 2004, “The Rule of Law, Constitutionalism and Human Rights” 2004, “China’s Academic Journals and Research in Legal Science” 2005, “Reflection and Prospects of China’s Legal Science” 2005, etc. and these seminars and conferences have gained favorable academic reputation and are warmly welcomed and recognized. JRC has sponsored “Lectures of Contemporary Well-known Scholars of Legal Science” and over 90 lectures have been presented and the manuscripts of these lectures have been published with the name of Rhythms of Legal Thoughts.
    JRC has successfully sponsored “Summer School of Front Matters in Western Legal Philosophy” for two times respectively in 2005 and 2006 and over 100 of young scholars and researchers from different colleges and universities were attracted.
    In order to promote and enhance academic communication among Ph. D. candidates in different colleges, universities and institutes, JRP initiated “China Academic Forum for Ph. D. Candidates of Legal Science” and successfully sponsored the first term of this forum. As of today, this forum has been sponsored respectively by Shandong University, Nanjing Normal University, Southwest University of Politics and Law, etc. JRC has also actively sponsored “Academic Roundtable of Legal Science” and “Forum of Young Scholars” with as their major form dialogue and discussion between teachers and students.
    Researchers of JRC actively take part in domestic academic conferences and present lectures in domestic colleges and universities. They publish their academic research results and seek extensive academic exchange with their peer researchers and scholars.
